What Is IT Asset Disposition (ITAD)?

IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) is the process of moving or disposing of IT products and equipment with customer safety and privacy at the forefront of the operation. Moving or disposing of IT assets is a huge responsibility for companies and organizations because the equipment is often expensive, difficult to recycle, and without the proper equipment, most data cannot be retrieved.
Companies have a responsibility to recycle electronic equipment responsibly, when possible. Responsible recycling ensures the equipment doesn’t end up sitting in a landfill for decades. We at R3eWaste are proud to provide a service that is 100% environmentally friendly and completely free to residential customers.

Unmatched Data Destruction

In addition to recycling your electronics, we also offer data destruction services. Data destruction is the process of completely wiping electronic data from electronic e-waste. The process is often requested by customers when they recycle their equipment to provide an extra level of comfort.

At R3eWaste, we can securely destroy any hard drive or memory card that contains sensitive information in an environmentally friendly way. We understand the importance of data security and want to make sure that the information on your electronics is not compromised. We take extreme precautions to protect your data and recycle it responsibly. We are happy to offer data destruction as a crucial step to a top-notch e-waste recycling program.
