Residential Services
We now provide the city of Killeen with recycling and household hazardous waste dropoffs at our Austin electronics recycling facility. Some electronics include a small fee. Our community guidelines provide examples of devices that may require additional charges.
*Exceptions include radioactive materials, PCBs (ballast, transformers, capacitors, etc.), corrosives (car batteries), household appliances (blow dryers, toasters, stoves, etc.), hazardous/contaminated medical equipment, and more.
**NOTE…Recycling charges apply to ALL CRT devices and ALL Televisions. We also charge $5.00 per desktop printer/fax machine.
R3eWaste picks up your old tech with no added charges, so you can go about your workday and still manage to recycle your unwanted or unused devices. We accept ALL materials. Our staff of experts are R2-trained and fully insured.
We will handle your devices and begin the careful process of disassembly. Once each device has been disassembled accordingly, R3eWaste offers the wrapping and packaging of the devices to our customers so that no damage can be done. After they have been successfully processed, they are shipped and delivered to our Austin recycling center. We offer these same shipping services nationwide at our other branches in Phoenix, Arizona, Austin, Texas, Killeen, Texas, and Tuscon, Arizona.
At R3eWaste, we’ve developed a valuable tool for our customers that provides transparency and allows you to see your tech being processed in real time. The IMS (Inventory Management System) is an industry-leading software created for customers to track electronic waste from the moment of the arrival of the device to one of our branches, all the way to its final destination. Each collection is carefully weighed and then tagged with its company’s or resident’s origin.
We completely erase all data-bearing devices, so you feel secure knowing no confidential information can be accessed. Sensitive files and personal information are carefully removed through our world-class data deconstruction software which meets HIPAA and NIST standards. Safety should never be a concern for you — that is why we utilize IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) which is a crucial element of our data destruction business. We provide complete data wipes of old electronics to the latest DOD standards and track each step of the refurbishing or recycling process.
Failing to remove all data from any of your devices including printers, scanners, fax machines, handheld electronic devices, medical and laboratory equipment, and more is in violation of privacy laws and has serious legal consequences. We are committed to maintaining and preserving customer privacy.
Our R3eWaste partner program offers an exclusive online portal for members that allows access to tracking information. Here you can track your commodities in real time. Additionally, you can keep a close eye on your assets and receive your revenue directly from the online portal. This provides transparency and assurance that we are fulfilling your request.
We are committed to reducing technological waste in landfills because of the lasting negative effects it can have on our environment. At R3eWaste, our goal is to make our recycling program accessible to everyone.
