The r3e Waste Process
We keep our waste management process as simple as possible in order to increase revenue and reduce overhead, which translates into additional savings to our valued customers.
Collection
No pickup fees are charged for the collection of your San Antonio-area business. Our collection team does all the challenging work and are R2 trained, as well as fully insured. Pallet and wrapping services are available as needed. Sensitive components are disassembled with care to ensure the security of your data. Everything is then securely packed and delivered directly to our facility. These same services are offered through our shipping partners all across the nation.
IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) is a sensitive and crucial aspect of every business. We provide services to protect your data through decommissioning and data wipes. Most businesses prefer to do this on their own, but we are fully capable of handling these critical tasks with trained specialists. All data wipes are performed to the latest DOD standards, ensuring your data is erased forever. We also provide certificates of destruction or recycling for all your data-bearing devices. Our ITAD system logs and tracks every IT asset during its journey through our phases, from testing to repairing or refurbishing to resale or recycle.
R3eWaste developed its own web-based Inventory Management System (IMS) software to track electronic waste from the time it arrives at our facility to its final destination. Each collection is carefully weighed and tagged with the company of origin. The waste is then sorted and separated onto weighing sales for each commodity, i.e. mice, cabling, circuit boards, etc., with each scale communicating with our software to track your commodities in real time. Items eligible for reuse and resale are tracked separately. Our IMS offers unparalleled transparency through every phase of our recycling operations and is the only company operating this way. Our customers can be confident that their recycling is being managed responsibly and ethically, as well as displaying the exact amount of revenue return to expect from their end-of-life assets through our R3E Dashboard.
R3eWaste is keenly aware that the top priority of every company recycling their end-of-life assets is data destruction. Failing to destroy data is considered a serious breach of confidentiality, which can result in financial liability and legal consequences. We offer several data destruction methods in order to avoid these issues and maintain customer confidence, from drive shredding/crushing to data wiping with 4 passes, ensuring that every address on the hard drive completes a zero-sum check. Data destruction can also be provided for CDs, magnetic drives, mobile storage devices, and ZIP drives.
Our R3eWaste Partner Program members receive their own customized R3eWaste Dashboard Web Portal that displays commodities tracking in real time. The process is designed to maximize revenue potential for your commodities. At every step in the downstream journey, your commodities will be tracked, allowing you to constantly monitor your assets and your revenue from them.
Nothing we collect in San Antonio will ever go to a landfill. Every piece of recyclable material we collect is tracked, processed, and recycled through our downstream partners.
